My #SundayFunday Post for this week - an oldie but goodie I have been spreading the word about for about 10 to 15 years now:
The mathematical relationship between Knowledge, Money, and Power
If you want to know the secret to wealth and success, you just have to do some simple algebra to some key equations:
Everyone has heard the following:
"Knowledge is Power" and "Time is Money".
A little less well known, except to engineers and some other scientists is this equation: "Power is Work over Time."
So, by substituting algebraic equations for these bits of wisdom, we have:
K = P
T = M
P = W/T
Now, do these few simple substitutions:
Substitution #1: exchange the P in "Knowledge is Power"
K = W/T
Substitution #2: exchange the T for M, because "Time is Money"
K = W/M
Now let's do two steps of algebra.
Step 1:
K * M = (W/M) * M
which means
K * M = W
Step 2:
(K * M) / K = W / K
which means
M = W / K
Now we have found the true "Secret To Financial Success". It is:
1. The More You Know, the Less Money You Make, no matter how hard you work.
2. And because Money (M) will approach infinity as Knowledge (K)approaches 0, regardless of the Work done, this means:
The More you Make, the Less you Know.
One last not - about the equation from Step 1 above:
When W = M * K, that mathematical truth is that Work approaches 0 as Knowledge approaches 0. I used to say this explained the Paris Hilton phenomenon that was occurring a decade ago. You can see this truth of this equation in the stupid celebrity world of Hollywood actors, clueless political candidates, and the Kardashians. What this means is:
The stupid rich do little or no work.
The socioeconomic aspects and implications of these equations are left as an exercise for the reader.
