My Dad - Gordon Levy - was born on this day in 1938.
He passed away in the year 2000, at 62 years of age. Even though my Dad had significant health issues for the last 1/3 of his life, he still enjoyed being with his soulmate, my Mom, all those years they shared together loving each other. He was always a fighter with a great sense of humor, and he was loved by his many family and friends when he departed this plane of existence.
Personally, my Dad was my mentor.
At a very young age, my Dad taught me how to play both chess and poker. Thanks to Dad, I have always known how to bluff when I was outmatched, giving me the distinct advantage of being able to win "the game" even if a checkmate was imminent.
My Dad was, and still is, my guide to what is right and what is wrong, and I miss seeing him, but I always have my memories of the lessons he gave me.
I noticed I did not have any pictures of him on my website yet, so today I finish my blog with just some pictures of him
